Outpatient Programs
Adolescent outpatient treatment is available in Green Bay and Marinette. Outpatient means the patient is able to resume daily activities and take ownership of his or her recovery. Libertas offers three approaches to outpatient treatment:
Individual Counseling
Individual counseling is a one-on-one session with a Libertas counselor, designed for people who are not comfortable in a group setting and who may benefit from a more private setting.
Intensive Outpatient Program
If the assessment shows the adolescent would benefit from a higher level of care, Libertas has an intensive outpatient treatment program with sessions offered after school for 2 hours a day, 4 days a week. This program includes:
- Group therapy
- Chemical dependency education
- Weekly family participation sessions
- Weekly drug screens
Aftercare
Libertas works closely with families and referring agencies to assist in discharge planning and ongoing care. Typically after 4 to 6 weeks of intensive outpatient treatment, Libertas recommends the adolescent participate in Aftercare. Aftercare is an informal, less intense program with individual sessions once a week for up to 16 weeks, and monthly family sessions.
